Pancake Tuesday

We are raising money here today in Kilcoskan and getting to eat some yummy pancakes in the process too!! Mmm!!!

We had lots of choices of different toppings to put on our pancakes. 

The yummy pancakes didn't last long before they were eaten all up! 

Valentine's Day Art

We looked at a sculpture by the famous American artist Robert Indiana called "Love". 

We recreated our own version of the piece using paints and card. They turned out well. Each of the children created something unique. 

We designed some Valentine's Day cards for the special people in our lives. We worked hard at cutting out the shapes and sticking them onto the card. We took our time to write special messages inside in the card. 

We cut out hearts and flowers from clay to make some gifts for our family. 

We made a lovely job painting them and writing our special messages on them. 

Robots have invaded!

We collected old boxes and materials from and brought them into school.

We drew a plan of the robots that we imagined on paper. 

Then we each selected which boxes we liked and got to work. 

Using tape we created some fabulous robots. 

Food dudes!

Here in Kilcoskan we are taking part in Food Dudes. This means we are tasting lots of different fruits and vegetables every day for the next couple of weeks. 

We will take photos of our class eating all of the lovely fresh fruit and vegetables!

Day 3: carrot and raisins

Day 4: banana and peppers

Day 5: cucumber and orange
