Easter Fun

We are preparing to celebrate Easter here in Kilcoskan.

We can't wait to get into our new classroom after the Easter holidays!

Spring is in the air and we are creating some beautiful art.

Our tea light candle holders are painted a lovely shade of Spring yellow. We added some gold sparkles to add an extra special touch.

Mothers Day

We know our mummy's do lots of things for us all of the time. We love to show them how much we care so we made some special cards for our special mammys for Mother's Day this weekend.

We all concentrated extremely hard on our cards and I think it shows!!

St Patrick's Day

We learnt the story of Saint Patrick in our history lesson this week. We learnt about where he came from and what he used to teach the Irish people about God.

We used crepe paper to decorate some beautiful shamrocks.

They turned out very well. Good job!

We are all excited about the parades that will be happening to celebrate this special day. So we made some leprechaun masks to help get us in the celebrating mood!

As a special treat we made pizza today.

First we spread tomato sauce on the base.

Next we sprinkled cheese on our base.

Next teacher put it in the oven and melted the cheese. Finally we got to eat some yummy pizza!

Walk to school

Here in Kilcoskan we are having two weeks of walking to school.

We are trying to be super healthy here in Kilcoskan by getting lots of exercise and eating lots of fruit and vegetables.

Here is a photo of all our super morning walkers!

Planting fun!

Here is an update of our plants' progress.

We are starting to see sprouts!

In our class we are learning all about what plants need to grow. We decided to plant some of our own Spring flowers.

We all played our part and planted a good few pots of various bulbs.

We can't wait to record of plants progress over the next couple of weeks

Here we are getting our hands dirty!

Remember to check back to see our plants progress! Soon we will have lots of colour in our classroom to enjoy!
