Bubble Snake
We took part in a science experiment today in which we made Bubble Snakes!!!
We stretched a J cloth over the end of a plastic bottle and secured it with an elastic band.
We dipped it into a solution of vinegar and washing up loquid. The smell of the vinegar was quite strong!
Then we went outside and blew into the bottle and made some really cool long snakes!
Census Time
We are learning all about what the census is and why we take part in it.
We took a poll of the classes to see if the most popular names from the last census where in our school.
We took part in a whole school project too in which we put our finger prints on the school tree alongside the rest of the school.

Jigsaw Art
We experiment with a new type of art today. We are going to explore the nature of negative space.
We placed jigsaw pieces in our desired shape. We had hearts, stars and houses.
Next we used sponges to dab paint on our pictures. We are excited to see how they turn out.
