Summer Trips

As part of our social curriculum we are going out and about in our local community with Teacher Trish's class.

We are going to experience lots of different environments and have lots of fun in the process.

We got to have a brilliant day out for our last trip. We got to go on the DART, a road train round Malahide and play in the playground.

Having a picnic!

Nothing beats the fun of rolling down a hill!

Climbing and exploring the different frames in the playground is great fun. Here are a few photos of us having a blast!

We were very lucky to get the chance to go to see behind the scenes in dublin airport. We had a great experience. We got to see all aspects of the airport. We checked in our bags for a "flight" we picked off the departures board.

Next we got to go through security screening. We had to put our bags on the belt to go through the X-ray machine. Some of us beeped going through and some didn't but we all got through!!

We then got to walk through the airport down to the big windows to look at the aeroplanes landing. We loved looking at the planes!

We also had fun walking on the travelators.

As a final treat our tour guides let us have a ride on a car that transports people around the airport.

We all enjoyed going to Fun Galaxy in Ashbourne. We got to play on lots of different climbing frames and slides.

We had great fun in the park in Ashbourne. We played with our friends on the slides and swings. We also got to go into Tesco to buy an item. We all were very good in the shop.

Recently one of our class had a special day. He made his first holy communion. Here he is in his snazzy outfit!
