Trip to the Phoenix Park

We had a beautiful day last week when we got to visit the Phoenix Park.

It was a lovely and sunny day when we got to explore the park.

First we were lucky enough to come across some deer. They were really friendly and followed us when we were walking through the park.

Then we went for a little walk and got to see the President's house Aras an Uachtarain. We thought it looked quiet like the American President's house!

There were men working at cutting down some sick trees in one part of the park. We got to see a Huge tree stump. It was that big that we lost count trying to figure out how old it was counting it's rings.

We went and visited the Papal Cross next. It was so big that it was hard to see the top of it!

We had a blast then rolling down the hill at the Papal Cross. The simple games are the best!

After a picnic we went to the playground and played on the swings and slides. It was such a lovely sunny day we all got a treat of an ice-cream.
